expertise company established in 15th May 2014 by young Somali professionals,

work-oriented, competitive and eager to invest in the areas of architecture, urban

planning and construction design and management.

The Name AQAL is derived from a traditional environmentally based construction

technique in east Africa which shows the commitment of the company to invest the

natural resources with the technology-oriented techniques without harming the natural

environment

The company establishment comes after the formulation of the statuary background in

Puntland government of Somalia including the building construction standards, road

construction standards, Urban regulatory framework and the contracting guidelines

and manual taking into account the increasing growth for the construction industry in

the country.
